Where to use your card
Caixa Gold can be used to purchase goods and services on credit in commercial outlets worldwide on the VISA or Mastercard networks, as well as for cash advances in Portugal (on the Multibanco network) and abroad, bank counters and cash machines bearing the Visa or Mastercard symbols.

Your current account can also be used via the Caixautomática service or Multibanco network for operations such as cash (debit) withdrawals, payment of services, transfers or consultations.

Benefits

-  There is no charge for the 1st annuity if the first purchase with the Caixa Gold card is made within 45 days from subscription.

-  Free credit of up to 45 days from date of purchase.

-  Supplementary credit line for splitting up payments of large amounts (travel, hotel, rent-a-car or other) in fixed payments of up to 60 months at a discounted interest rate. This credit line releases the credit limit on your card.

-  Payment flexibility allowing you to choose the day of the month for making payment and the most expedient form of payment: 5%, 10%, 25%, 50% 75% or 100% of the outstanding balance, for a minimum of EUR 25 directly debited to the associated current account.

-  Special Caixa Gold Club Promotions in several areas of interest such as travel, culture, beauty care and health, clothing and jewellery, communications, home help and insurance.

-  Monthly statement  allowing you to check expenditure at your leisure.

-  Insurance package providing you with travel protection and protection against expenses incurred in the event of theft in addition to an extensive assistance plan.

-  Discounts on various associated services: HPP Saúde discounts, Serralves Museum, IAPA Card (providing a series of discounts and support services when travelling), Avis Preferred card (discounts on rent-a-car tariffs) and VISA Global Assistance (credit card replacements and providing urgent cash advances, if your card is lost or stolen abroad).

The annuity for the card is EUR 65 (including 4% stamp tax). There is no charge for the card’s first annuity. Please see tariff page for costs (only available in Portuguese).
