This insurance provides two, distinct types of life and family insurance:

- PTD (“Permanent Total Disability”) life and family insurance covering death by accident or
  illness or permanent disability caused by accident or illness (more expensive - it pays out in
  the event that the injured person cannot perform their normal career but may be able to do
  lower work);

- APD (“Absolute, Permanent Disability”) life and family insurance covering death by accident
  or illness or absolute and permanent disability caused by accident or illness (less
  expensive - it pays out if the injured person cannot work and is absolutely incapacitated).

All subscribers have to do is to fill in the application form containing a medical questionnaire and take the requested medical examinations at one of the clinics specified by Fidelidade Mundial, free of charge, or at a clinic of their choice.

The amount of the insurance premium is contingent upon the level of life and family insurance protection chosen, number of insured persons, outstanding principal and actuarial age (if less than 6 months from your birthday please add 1 year to your current age).

The medical exams necessary to subscribe to Caixa Life Insurance are contingent upon age and principal insured.
